Spillover from the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict forced the temporary closure of Kuwait's airspace, prompting Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways to launch an emergency plan in March 2026. The airline began operating flights through Qaisumah Airport and King Fahd International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
