MADRID, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Ten sides are in action in the last-16 round of matches in the Spanish Copa del Rey over the weekend, with four games to be played on Saturday and one on Sunday.

The games between Athletic Club Bilbao and FC Barcelona, Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid along with Elche and Real Madrid will be played during next week due to Athletic, Barca, Atletico and Real Madrid's participation in the Spanish Supercup, which is currently being held in Saudi Arabia.

The biggest game of the weekend is the Seville derby, which sees Betis, who are third in La Liga, entertain their bitter local rivals, Sevilla, who are second.

Sevilla won easily when the two sides met in Betis' Benito Villamarin Stadium earlier this season, but are without several players, such as Munir and Youssef En-Nesyri due to their participation in the African Cup of Nations.

Sergio Gonzalez makes his debut as Cadiz boss after replacing Alvaro Cervero, who was sacked earlier this week, as his side travels to play away to second division Sporting Gijon in what looks like an even tie.

Cervero had publicly said he wasn't interested in the Cup as the league was more important, but Gonzalez is likely to take a bigger interest in the tournament.

There is another second division against top-flight clash in Girona with the home side entertaining Rayo Vallecano. It is certain to be an emotional occasion for Rayo coach Michel (Miguel Angel Sanchez), who was a Rayo legend as a player and who also had a successful spell coaching the club from the south of Madrid.

There is also a return to Mallorca for Espanyol coach Vicente Moreno, whose side kicks off the weekend in Mallorca. Before joining Espanyol, Moreno led Mallorca to consecutive promotions to take them into La Liga.

The weekend matches end on Sunday with another game in Mallorca that sees giant killers Atletico Baleares (from Mallorca) look for their third top-flight scalp as they face Valencia.

Third tier Atletico Baleares have already defeated Getafe and Celta Vigo in the tournament and are certain to make life tough for Valencia in their 6,000 capacity Estadio Balear.
