QALAT, Afghanistan -- A total of 15 people were killed and eight others injured as a mini-bus collided with a truck coming from opposite direction in Afghanistan's southern Zabul province on Thursday, provincial police chief Mohammad Wais Samimi said Friday.

The deadly road accident took place in the Jaldak area outside the provincial capital Qalat on Thursday evening, the police chief told Xinhua, adding that 15 commuters lost their lives on the spot and eight others were injured, with some of them in critical condition. (Afghanistan-Accident)

ISTANBUL -- Turkish prosecutors on Friday issued detention warrants for 78 suspects over their alleged involvement in a cryptocurrency exchange fraud, local media reported.

Police units have so far detained 62 suspects in operations conducted in eight provinces, the Haberturk daily said on its website. (Turkey-Fraud)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched three bomb-laden drones at a Saudi Aramco oil facility and the King Khalid Airbase in southwestern Saudi Arabia on Friday morning.

"Two drones hit King Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait city and the third one struck the Aramco oil facility in Jazan city," the group's al-Masirah TV reported, adding "the attacks were accurate." (Yemen-Bombing)
