HADERA, Israel, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Swim with the sharks? Seriously?
Yes, it's true story in the Israeli coastal city Hadera. From November to May every year, a large group of sharks are attracted to the Mediterranean coast in Hadera where the water is warmed by the local power plant. Some daring Israeli water sports lovers, including divers, snorkelers and kayakers, enjoy diving and swimming with these giant sea animals. In January this year, some of them sparked a controversy in Israel by attempting to "ride" on the sharks, mainly the dusky sharks and sandbar sharks which are considered less dangerous than the great white sharks.
