RIYADH -- The 2020 G20 Leaders' Summit will be held virtually on Nov. 21 to 22, chaired by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's G20 presidency said in a statement early Monday.
The statement said the Saudi G20 presidency will "build on the success of the extraordinary virtual G20 Leaders' Summit held in March and on the outcomes of over 100 virtual working groups and ministerial meetings." (Saudi Arabia-G20)

SAN FRANCISCO -- More than 3.6 million acres of land have burned from wildfires in California so far this year, and 26 people have died and nearly 7,630 structures have been damaged or destroyed, according to the Sunday update by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire).
The state's biggest-ever fire, the August Complex in Mendocino, Humboldt and Lake counties, has been active for 41 days and grown to 873,079 acres (about 3,533 square km) with 43 percent containment as of Sunday noon. (U.S.-California-Wildfires)

AMMAN -- Jordan signed an agreement on Sunday to sell electricity to Iraq and connect the two countries' power grids.
Under the agreement signed via videoconferencing, Jordan will provide Iraq with 1,000 gigawatt-hours per year in the first phase of the project, Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati said in a statement. (Jordan-Iraq-Electricity)
