BEIRUT -- French President Emmanuel Macron underlined on Thursday the need to create a new political order in Lebanon, MTV local TV channel reported.

"Lebanon is in urgent need for national unity to implement reforms in energy, customs sectors, the fight against corruption in addition to conducting a transparent auditing for the central bank and the whole banking system," Macron said in a press conference held at the Pine Residence. ANKARA -- Turkey said Thursday that a maritime border agreement signed by Egypt and Greece is "null and void" and Ankara would not allow any activities in the area.

"A maritime boundary between Greece and Egypt does not exist. With respect to Turkey, the so-called maritime delimitation agreement signed today is null and void. This understanding will reflect on the ground and at the table," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a written statement on Thursday. (Turkey-Egypt-Greece)

RIYADH -- Saudi-led coalition announced on Thursday the interception of a bomb-laden drone launched by the Houthis toward the kingdom.
